Although we no longer have the notion of “gender” in professions, including the technical industries, did you know that the female ratio in the IT industry is only 7.85% (according to TopDev’s report in 2021)? Looking at this ratio, do you think women in the Tech industry have barriers or advantages?
Women have historically been underrepresented in the tech industry, with a gender gap that persists today. Despite progress in recent years, women still make up only a fraction of the tech workforce, particularly in technical and leadership roles.
There are a number of factors that contribute to the gender gap in tech, including social and cultural biases, lack of access to education and training, and workplace barriers such as discrimination and harassment.
Efforts are being made to address these challenges and increase diversity in the tech industry, such as initiatives to encourage girls and young women to pursue STEM education, mentoring and networking programs for women in tech, and diversity and inclusion initiatives in hiring and promotion practices.
It is important for the tech industry to continue to work towards greater representation and inclusion of women, not only for the benefit of individual women but also to drive innovation and create more equitable and inclusive workplaces.
International Women’s Day 2023 At NAL Solutions
On March 8th, NAL Solutions hosted an International Women’s Day party for all the NALSERs. The event was a great way to celebrate the achievements and contributions of women around the world, as well as to show appreciation for the hard work and dedication of NAL Solutions’ female employees.
The party was a fun and exciting event that had something for everyone. There were tea and snacks available for all the attendees to enjoy, which provided a great opportunity for everyone to catch up and socialize. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and everyone was in high spirits.

𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁: the female ratio at NALS is currently around 30%. Although it has not reached a balance, it is a relatively high ratio in the IT industry. At the same time, it shows that the female members at NALS have and are making significant contributions to the company and projects.
Here are a few words by Mr. Tran Nhu Hoai – CEO about Women in Tech:
“Each individual has their own barrier and advantage. One’s own thoughts, perspectives, and societal expectations regarding both men and women influence the individual’s thinking to some extent. Therefore, both genders will face their own invisible pressures. Overcoming oneself, and conquering one’s own “mountain,” will help overcome barriers.
Someone once said, “There Are No Ugly Women, Only Lazy Ones.” Beauty in this context has many meanings and perspectives. I hope you will always strive to renew yourselves more ” beautifully ” to create a colorful life.
Finally, borrowing the words of CPO Tran Anh Minh: We wish that women will always have an “Open Mind” to improve their expertise, an “Open Heart” to motivate and inspire others, and an “Open Will” to fulfill their plans and desires!
